Gee...long time-no journal
Long time-no dA really. I have not gotten to responding to comments or going through my inbox, or anything. But I have not been inactive, you may have noticed. I have come here everyday. I just wasn't doing anything
But I am trying! I am
totally swamped now! And that is because I procrastinated when I had to get through the minor swamp. It is a very big swamp now. Indeed
I have hundreds of deviations to look and and many, many messages. The actual numbers shown are 148 devs and 75 messages. But I deleted a lot of devs awhile back, telling myself I would manually check them later. So sorry my watchees (what else can I call you?). I am really hoping to see all your stuff. People tell me *you don't have to look at every single thing* but I think I should. Why else am I watching you? I'm watching you because I enjoy your work or you're my friend. and I want to be a good friend.
It seems like I mention having a full inbox or an empty one every journal entry
Whoo! I have almost 20 watchers! That is pretty cool
And around 1200 pageviews. Also neat...considering I had 960 when I wrote my last entry.

In other news - which you probably don't care about but I will mention anyways - here are some random notes:
1. My friend and I finished Season One of the X-Files (of course, psssh what else would anyway watch) awhile ago and soon after that we started ripping through Season Two! We got halfway through it. Which is saying something pretty impressive because it took us months to get through S1. But then we came to a stop. After hanging out every weekend (and sometimes during the week) for months and months we haven't been able to hang out. Pah. She had to serve tea, Mother's Day, our parents working a lot, etc...obstacles. Whatever. Random note.
2. I am seeing Wicked on October 11th
3. Whooooo! Haven XF DVDs from Tud!!! Whoo whoo! Thank you Tud!
I don't feel like explaining what those are right now and only those that know would care anyway. I've waited years for these! I've only watched two discs though, haha.
So good, so good. I'm telling you: the gag reels are to die for. And the David Duchovny celebrity video! Playing on my TV! And its clear! Dream come true. I still have to thank Tud. I feel terrible that I have not gotten around to emailing him. Maybe that will happen today.
4. We got Windows Vista awhile ago. Yeah. Very different.
5. School is almost over. The last day is June 18th (a Monday, no one will go). It really sucks that the whole week before that is just exams. Baah.

That is about it! I am swamped in every area of life right now (not so much in school, actually
). But I have a ton of stuff to do on the NewSpace Forum (shameless plug:
anewspace.20.forumer.com/index…) and other internet things. I want to clean my room (which I never do but I started to like a month ago and didn't finish). I need to do laundry.
I will be submitting stuff soon! Maybe today! None of it is really new...things I made some time ago but never uploaded them.

Ode to Venom: Strangers in the night... I am sorry Venom. You were not done justice in Spider-Man 3. I was extremely disappointed to see my favorite SM villain shafted like that. After being so excited, ordering tickets for opening day in advance...and then that!?! My sadness prompted my to so a crayon drawing of your face. Perhaps I will add it to Scraps.
I did not hate the movie (sooooo many people did) but I was super annoyed with how they did Venom. They should not have cast Topher Grace as Eddie. I have thought that since the second when we found out he was playing Venom so long ago. That kid is way too skinny. And they got Brock all wrong! He's not the funny one! Venom is. And Venom's voice was horrendous. I wished they had a "we" in the script...I love when he talks of himself as both the symbiote and the man. What was with the "I"? And
what the hell was with the crying?!?! Oh, oh! And NO TONGUE?!?!?! NO FUCKING TONGUE!
VENOM IS THE TONGUE! Also, I feel the film was falsely advertised. It was supposed to be dark (which I would have loved) and it
really wasn't. Really. They could have done a better job with Peter's story of wearing the black suit. I hate how they didn't address it much - all its powers. And it was never mentioned that Pete's spider sense can't detect Venom
That's important.
Gwen didn't need to be in the movie. There was too much going on. Her character went no where in the film. She just disappeared by the end. I was excited to see her, but she should have been omitted. Or killed. Hah, but then she would have to die a different way than she really did because we already did the whole Goblin/bridge thing in SM1 with MJ.
Some of the lines were cheesy. Acting sketchy at times.
Like I said, I didn't hate it. But it certainly wasn't "Easily the best of the trilogy" and one of the greatest films of the decade like the commercials are saying! I would really have to see Spider-Man 3 again to form a final opinion, but I believe the SM2 was the best one.
Hopefully The Lizard will be in the fourth one. And I can handle Carnage. I just hope they'll show Kasady as the murderous man he is and not try to make the audience relate and sympathize with him like they did with Marko! Pssh *rolls eyes* We're allowed to dislike villains, Sam.
